For Bloc we wanted to create trousers that are more flexible than you are and would never hold you back mid-climb. A diamond-shape gusseted crotch, articulated knees and a touch of spandex in the fabric all help to keep the limbs loose. The fabric also allowed a slimmer fit than standard so you can see where you’re placing your toes. Climbing trousers need to be durable, especially if being subjected to rough Peak District grit. Cotton is a naturally hard-wearing material so was the obvious choice. We finished Bloc with a simple, low-profile elastic waistband that’s easy on and comfortable with a harness. Four pockets mean you don’t have to leave valuables hanging around.
Wash: 30˚C, delicate cycle at or hand wash with lukewarm water. Dry: Line dry or tumble dry on low heat. Use a non-biological detergent pure soap. DO NOT use fabric conditioners or softeners. Rinse thoroughly in clean water.
