The Stanley Tools FatMax® Classic Tape has a Mylar® coated steel blade, with both metric and imperial graduations, and an impressive stand-out of 3.35m. The Mylar® coated blade is up to 10x more resistant to abrasion than normal lacquered blades. There is also BladeArmour® coating on the first 50mm, this reduces the risk of breaking the blade by 95%.
