The unstable surface helps engage your core as you sit, lie or lean on the ball, encouraging your stabiliser muscles to work harder to maintain balance. Use it for crunches, bridges, planks, dumbbell exercises, posture work or as a prop to add challenge to yoga poses. Made from durable anti-burst PVC, the ball is designed to slowly deflate if punctured rather than popping suddenly. Anti-slip lines around the surface provide extra grip, helping reduce slipping and rolling while you train. Many people also use gym balls as office chairs to support active sitting and engage the core during the day. For chair use, choosing one size larger than your usual exercise size is recommended. Supplied with a pump, tape measure, spare stopper plug and plug removal tool, the gym ball is easy to inflate to the correct size.
